Translation for Languages

Greeting

Our firm offers translation services, for all types of documents, in all the domains of intellectual property – including patent, trademark, design and utility model. While translation is of course a part of the prosecution and registration procedures we handle on a regular basis, the translation services we offer also apply to separate translation works.

At Harakenzo World Patent & Trademark, we strive to provide our clients with translation services of the highest quality. Based on our extensive knowledge of the particularities of intellectual property translation, we have in this view designed a specific approach, which can be described as follows.

In-house translation incorporating technical and legal knowledge

When translating a document related to intellectual property, it goes without saying that a great importance is attached to the exactness of the contents of the translation, which must be conducted using legal knowledge and with intellectual property rights in mind at all times. In addition, technical understanding is indispensable when translating patent or utility model claims and specification ; however, specialized knowledge in each of the domains of intellectual property also is an absolute requisite.

Our firm conducts all translation works internally. The staff involved in our in-house translation process includes translators specialized in intellectual property, patent attorneys, patent engineers and trademark/design specialists – all working in close cooperation towards one objective : high-quality translation.

Multilingual translation ability

Intellectual property today is one of the most globalized domains of activity. As such, its actors must be able to work in a high number of languages in order to remain competitive. In this view, our firm provides translation services in Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, German and French, and handle translation works to and from any of these languages.

Urgent response ability

Intellectual property is like any other business activity : speed is fundamental. But specific constraints, such as the principle of first-to-file or the great number of deadlines, often put intellectual property firms under strong time pressure. It is therefore necessary to take special measures to ensure, even in the case of a very urgent order, a high level of translation service.

With our international team of forty translators, our firm is fully able to handle smoothly and efficiently any kind of order – including the most urgent ones.

Wide range of technical fields

Technical knowledge is essential when conducting translations for patent or utility model.

Our firm is experienced in a wide range of technological domains, including electricity, electronics, communication technology, mechanics, information technology, chemistry, biology and medical science.
